Join us for Tribu Altar - June 20th, as we move through the portal of the solstice, we gather in sacred ceremony with Huachuma to anchor light, prayer, joy, and remembrance into the body, heart, and spirit.

Huachuma, also known as San Pedro, is a sacred Master Plant traditionally worked with in the Andes for prayer, healing, heart-opening, and communion with the natural world. He is a gentle yet powerful teacher, known as a medicine of the heart, guiding us back into connection with joy, beauty, gratitude, presence, and the sacredness of life.
Huachuma works in a grounded, embodied way. Rather than taking you out of yourself, he brings you deeper into your body, into the Earth, and into the truth of your being. Many experience a softening of the heart, a release of emotional weight, and a renewed sense of clarity, peace, and belonging.

Huachuma has a way of gently dissolving the barriers we have built around our hearts, allowing us to see with greater compassion, truth, and openness. He teaches through feeling, through presence, and through the direct experience of love.
He is often referred to as a guardian of the heart, holding the keys to the inner kingdom of heaven, reminding us that what we seek has always lived within us. Through this medicine, we are invited to come home—to ourselves, to the Earth, and to the sacred intelligence of life itself.
We begin by opening sacred space and setting our intentions through a despacho ceremony, honoring the element of Earth and our physical vessels.
A despacho is a sacred offering to Pachamama and the spirits, created in reciprocity, gratitude, and prayer. Together, we offer our intentions into the altar and begin the journey rooted in the body, the land, and the wisdom of the Earth.
You may bring any items you wish to offer into the despacho, or anything symbolizing what you wish to release to the fire.
We move into the element of Air, the realm of the sacred mind.
Through a deep sound immersion journey, we are invited to surrender the constructs, stories, and thoughts that keep us from living fully in our sacred hearts. Breath, vibration, and sound guide us into spaciousness, clarity, and release.
We enter the sacred waters, the realm of emotions, softness, and the Divine Mother.
In the pool, you will be guided through a water rebirthing ceremony with a floating sound bath, flowers, and limpia. Held by the waters, we soften, cleanse, receive, and remember the nurturing current of life.
We gather around the sacred fire, Tatiwari - the spirit of the fire. Honoring our passion, life force, desire, and transformation.
We offer our despacho, to Grandfather Tatiwari filled with our prayers, as we invoke the ancestors, drums, rattles, and the ancient remembrance of sacred prayer as we sing, dance and chant.
We connect to the etheric realms, our relationship with Spirit, the Celestial beings above, and the unseen web of light that connects us all.
As the ceremony opens into celebration, Zoel will guide us with an electronic dance set, inviting us to embody our living prayer through movement, joy, and connection to the celebration of life.
We return to the Earth for grounding. Bodies on the ground. Hearts expanded. Prayers alive. Spirits transformed.
Together, we give gratitude for the gift of life, the opportunity to gather as family, and the blessing of uniting our collective prayers at the altar.
We close sacred space with full hearts, followed by an integration sharing circle and nourishing food.

Medicine Woman, ceremonial guide, shamanic educator, energy healer and musican, who has been walking the path of plant medicine and energy healing for over 16 years. She is the founder of Tribu Spirit and Tribu Church in Miami.
She is a Huachumera initiated in the sacred lands of Peru in 2016. Her work is rooted in over 16 years of devoted study with the plants, both personally and in ceremonial contexts.
Shaundra is also a Somatic Trauma-Informed Plant Medicine Integration Practitioner. She walks this path with deep devotion, integrity, and reverence, guiding others into remembrance, healing, and a deeper connection to their true nature with the plants.
